Dew Point for Dummies - FREE SEMINAR!
When: Tuesday, November 9, 2010
Time: 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Where: The Bar West - Holmgren Way
Cost: FREE TO MEMBERS
Credits: 1.5
Instructor: Joe Nagan, Home Building Technology Services
Class Description: "Dew-Point"" What's the big deal...It's just moisture, right? Moisture can be a problem whether it's window condensation, wall condensation or moisture in an attic space. The mechanisms involved with surface moisture problems are universal and can be predicted and controlled. This presentation will explain 'in detail' the conditions that produce surface condensation and also explain just why it's necessary you understand, just what you can, and cannot control. Product marketing often times states that you can control Dew-Point. We'll blow the lid off that statement and you'll leave with a clear understanding of this terminology. Building in a cold climate demands you understand this concept in an effort to reduce callbacks!
